On January 13, a seminar on the key international cooperation project of NSFC, "Brain functional connectivity network regulation and visual restoration in glaucoma", was held at the Institute of automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The attendees of the meeting included the neural computing and brain computer interaction team and the project backbones of Tongren Hospital of Capital Medical University (Dr. Dapeng Mou and Dr. Qian Wang). At the same time, director Junfang Xian of Tongren Hospital of Capital Medical University was specially invited as the project consultant. Researcher Huiguang He chaired this seminar.
First of all, researcher Huiguang He made a brief introduction to the theme of the seminar and the basic information of the project, and extended a cordial welcome to the experts present. Secondly, Dr. Ying Gao made a detailed report on the research background, objectives and contents, technical scheme, schedule and funding status of the project, and put forward the problems existing in the research design. The participants had a detailed discussion on the problems to be solved and reached a consensus. Director Junfang Xian put forward guiding opinions on the implementation and design of the project. Finally, researcher Huiguang He led the participating experts to visit the multimodal data acquisition and other related platforms of the neural computing and brain computer interaction laboratory, and introduced the stimulation equipment used in the project in detail.
